NUT slams ministers’ lack of trust

A critique by NUT deputy leader Kevin Courtney slamming ministers for their “profound lack of trust” and for piling an “unacceptable” workload onto teachers went viral yesterday.

The polemic for the Telegraph was 33,000 times on Facebook and Twitter.

It came in response to the government’s “workload challenge” to teachers to share their grievances.

“I think this blog has had so much resonance because it reflects the real experience of teachers, day after day,” Mr Courtney said.
