MEN’S ICE HOCKEY: Eight-time Challenge Cup winners Nottingham Panthers host the Glasgow Clan tomorrow evening for a place in the last four of this year’s competition.

The Panthers are on a three-match winning run and currently sit fourth in the Elite League, three places above the Scots.

The other three teams already through to the semi-finals are holders Sheffield, Belfast and Elite League table-toppers Cardiff Giants.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: Two of European football’s biggest spenders clash in tomorrow evening’s penultimate round of the new Champions League format with Manchester City travelling to Paris St Germain.

A defeat for either club will severely limit their prospects of reaching the last 16.

Among tonight’s other fixtures Celtic take on an already eliminated Young Boys of Bern team that have yet to earn a point and Arsenal host Dinamo Zagreb.

FORMULA ONE: Haas have appointed Laura Muller as the first female race engineer in Formula One.

The German, who will be working with Frenchman Esteban Ocon during the 2025 season, takes up the crucial role of working most closely with the drivers and will be the voice heard on the team radio.

Muller has worked previously in endurance racing and with Haas as a simulator and performance engineer.

MEN’S RUGBY UNION: Sale have been drawn away to holders Toulouse in the European Champions Cup last 16 while last year’s runners-up Leinster will face Harlequins in Dublin.

Ulster visit Top 14 leaders Bordeaux-Begles, Munster are at La Rochelle and Saracens travel to Toulon.

Northampton are the only English team with a home draw, against Clermont Ferrand while Glasgow will take on Leicester and Castres are up against Treviso.
