WOMEN’S RUGBY UNION:
The English Women’s Premiership regular season finishes Friday evening with Gloucester-Hartpury having already claimed the league title for a third consecutive year and all four play-off places settled.
The champions take on third-placed Harlequins, while second-placed Saracens will be hoping to seal a home play-off tie when they meet bottom team Sale.
Friday night’s other fixtures see Loughborough take on Ealing and Exeter visit Leicester.
MEN’S FOOTBALL:
Brora Rangers moved four points clear in the Highland League after Shane Sutherland’s hat-trick spurred their 7-0 demolition of bottom club Strathspey Thistle 7-0 and second-placed Brechin were held 1-1 by lowly Keith.
Banks O’Dee kept up the pressure in third after edging out Formartine 1-0, Deveronvale went down 3-1 at home to Fraserburgh, Clachnacuddin beat Wick Academy 2-1 and Forres Mechanics won 3-2 in Rothes.
MEN’S RUGBY UNION:
The Under 20s Six Nations tournament resumes Friday evening with unbeaten defending champions England in Newcastle to take on a Scotland team that is still looking for their first points and sits bottom of the table. The Scots also failed to win a game last year.
Wales are up against 2024’s runners-up Ireland in Newport, before it’s second against third on Saturday night when France meet Italy in Treviso.
WOMEN’S FOOTBALL:
Armenia kick off the new Nations League season with a home game against Liechtenstein on Friday morning, before Spain begin the defence of their title against Belgium in Valencia tomorrow evening.
Scotland start their campaign in Austria, Northern Ireland travel to Poland, Wales are in Monza to play Italy, Ireland meet Turkey, and England visit the Algarve to face Portugal.
Last year’s runners-up France take on Norway.
