Cliftonville Ladies moved top of the Women’s Irish Premiership on goal difference after thrashing bottom of the table Derry City 6-0 on Wednesday night.
Glentoran, the current holders of all four domestic trophies, are second following their 3-1 win at Mid-Ulster.
Julie Nelson’s late free kick earned The Crusaders Strikers a 1-1 draw with Linfield and Cora Chambers scored twice in the Sion Swifts 5-1 romp at winless Lisburn.
Men’s Football
Table-topping Derry City travel to third placed St Patrick’s in the pick of this evening’s League of Ireland fixtures whilst form team Shamrock Rovers, who are just one point off the summit, visit fourth-placed Sligo Rovers.
Friday night’s other matches see Bohemians host bottom club University College Dublin, Dundalk meet Drogheda and Finn Harps take on Shelbourne.
Netball
Second-placed Loughborough Lightning are at Leeds Rhinos on Friday night looking for the win that will guarantee their place in the end of season Superleague semi-finals.
Unbeaten champions-elect Manchester Thunder have already qualified but Team Bath, in fourth, host fifth-placed Saracens Mavericks in this evening’s other crucial play-off decider.

Men’s Football
Having sealed the Scottish Championship and secured a return to the Premiership after just one season, Kilmarnock travel to a Raith team that has little chance of making the play-offs in this evening’s finale.
Dunfermline host relegated Queen of the South, probably needing a win to have any chance of escaping the relegation play-offs ahead of Ayr, who take on Partick, whilst elsewhere Friday night Inverness face Hamilton and Greenock Morton visit Arbroath.
