OVER 70 firefighters tackled a huge blaze in Hackney, east London, yesterday after a fire spread through a row of shops.
A man was taken to hospital with burns and smoke inhalation, London Ambulance Service said.
Local residents were also asked to keep windows and doors closed as thick black smoke billowed from the fire on Yorkton Street.
The cause of the fire was not known when the Star went to press.
