The Tories were accused of trying to “buy David Cameron the keys to Downing Street” at a clandestine supper club for the super-rich yesterday.
The guest list for their exclusive “Black and White Ball” at London’s five-star Grosvenor House hotel in London will be kept secret.
But Mr Cameron led a delegation of 18 ministers to meet millionaires at last year’s lavish event, where guests paid £1,500 each to attend.
Zoe Law, the wife of hedge fund manager and Tory donor Andrew Law, reportedly organised this year’s bash.
Mr Law, who is worth more than £350 million, handed the nasty party £1,226,411 last year.
Unite general secretary Len McCluskey said the public have a right to know government ministers’ quaffing partners.
“The Conservatives are once again going cap in hand to the City in the hope that hedge fund bosses will dig deep and buy David Cameron the keys to Downing Street.
“Tonight’s parade of the privileged reveals that it has never been more important for working people to have their own voice in Parliament.
“Trade union money is the cleanest and most transparent in politics, all donations are democratically agreed and available for public scrutiny.”
