Gene Haas changed the name of his Formula One team yesterday ahead of the marque’s debut entry in 2016.
Originally known as Haas Formula, the rebrand has resulted in a switch to Haas F1 Team in a bid to plug into the sport’s benefits.
By way of explanation, Haas said: “Haas F1 Team automatically conveys our place among the pinnacle of motorsports.
“When you hear ‘F1’ you know exactly what it is — a global racing series that showcases the latest technology and attracts the best talent in engineering and design.”
