The Women’s Super League returns today but the pick of the action takes place tomorrow with leaders Birmingham City taking on Manchester City in the top division.
Birmingham are currently a point clear and have the chance to make it four with second-placed Bristol City not in action.
While Liverpool take on Arsenal at midday in the first of the Battle of two Cities double header.
The Gunners go into the game bottom of the league but are full of confidence after their FA Cup victory over Everton last month.
The second Battle of the two Cities pits Everton against Chelsea with both team’s looking to get their season going after disappointing starts.
A win for Chelsea could see them climb up the table from sixth to second depending on resutlts elsewhere in the league.
In the WSL 2 second-placed Sunderland, have the chance to go top for 24 hours at least when they take on Yeovil Town at midday today.
Sunderland are second on goal difference behind Doncaster Rovers Belles who travel to third-placed Millwall tomorrow, with the London club seven points behind the two clubs.
