Manchester city defender Jen Beattie was pleased yesterday to draw Liverpool at home in the FA Cup semi-finals.
The other tie will see Chelsea visit Birmingham, who knocked out holders Arsenal in the quarters.
Beattie is glad that the Women’s Super League champions will play in Manchester and is keen to add one trophy the team are yet to win.
She said: “A home tie is what we wanted and the FA Cup is such a huge deal now. We will hopefully get through to the final but we aren’t thinking too much as Liverpool are a great side. It would be massive to get through.
“The FA Cup is the one thing we haven’t won yet so it would be incredible.”
