Palestinian MP praises British for protests against Israeli 'crimes against humanity'

A Palestinian MP has praised the British public for their mass protests over Israel’s “crimes against humanity” during its latest bloody attack on Gaza.

Dr Mustafa Barghouti attended a mass lobby of Parliament and joined trade unionists at the TUC conference in Liverpool to ram home the truth about Israel’s bloody Operation Protective Edge, which left more than 2,100 dead.

Four-hundred activists lobbied MPs in Westminster on Tuesday to demand action from the British government on Israel, including an end to multimillion-pound arms sales.

And Mr Barghouti told them: “In 2014, there was 100 times more destruction and more explosives than in all three previous wars. Why? Because they are testing the world, they are testing you, they are testing every single person in humanity to see how much you can tolerate.

“Tell your MPs now that this inhumanity can’t continue. There’s only one way out — to establish boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel in order to dismantle this occupation and this apartheid.”
