MORE than 200 health and care workers who have worked on the front line during the pandemic have been identified after dying with coronavirus.
The PA News Agency have confirmed the names of 204 workers who have died after contracting Covid-19 since March 11.
The list includes those who were working in roles shortly before their deaths and were likely to have come into contact with patients.
Health and social care staff as young as 26-years-old have been identified, with reporters confirming names through NHS Trusts and other authorities following tributes from family.
The numbers include 39-year-old mental health worker Charles Kwame Tanor, who died on March 11, and 47-year-old healthcare assistant and care worker Adela Baldwin-White, who died last Thursday.
The figure is likely to be still lower than the true number of workers who have died, as the names of some victims will not yet be in the public domain.
