Racist fans suspended from Carrow Road

Norwich have suspended two fans from Carrow Road as they investigate allegations of racist abuse during their defeat at Wolves.

The Canaries are looking into an incident in the away end alleged to have happened during the 1-0 Sky Bet Championship loss at Molineux on Sunday.

Should they be found guilty, the pair would face lifetime bans from Carrow Road, Norwich have stated, and the Norfolk side have handed their information to police.

A statement on official club website canaries.co.uk read: “Norwich can confirm two male supporters have been suspended from attending games at Carrow Road, pending the outcome of the club’s ongoing investigation into allegations of racist abuse at last Sunday’s Championship game against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.”
