F1 team undergoes name change

Haas F1 Team hits the headlines

Gene Haas changed the name of his Formula One team yesterday ahead of the marque’s debut entry in 2016.

Originally known as Haas Formula, the rebrand has resulted in a switch to Haas F1 Team in a bid to plug into the sport’s benefits.

By way of explanation, Haas said: “Haas F1 Team automatically conveys our place among the pinnacle of motorsports.

“When you hear ‘F1’ you know exactly what it is — a global racing series that showcases the latest technology and attracts the best talent in engineering and design.”
