oronto Mayor Rob Ford threatened to sue former employees who made a slew of allegations to police about his drunken, drug-addled behaviour.
Responding to police documents released on Wednesday the mayor denied taking prostitutes to city hall and doing drugs.
He also denied lewd allegations relating to former policy adviser Olivia Gondek.
"It says I wanted to eat her pussy and I have never said that in my life to her," he told an impromptu press conference.
"I would never do that. I'm happily married and I've got more than enough to eat at home."
But he did admit to drink driving.
The 44-year-old rejected a near-unanimous plea to quit from the city council on Wednesday, insisting he was a "positive role model for kids."
The mayor, who admitted last week to having smoked crack cocaine while in a "drunken stupor," turned on councillors moving that they be subject to mandatory drug and alcohol testing - provoking laughter in the chamber.
Despite offering to cover the cost of the testing out of his own pocket the motion was moved out of order and his appeal voted down.
He said he knew council members who used drugs but wouldn't say because "I'm not a rat."
The police files into the video that first brought the mayoral crack allegations to light released on Wednesday also contained allegations that he had called a taxi driver a "paki."
The city's Santa Claus Parade has asked Mr Ford not to take part this year.
