Protest targets Israeli drone engine supplier

HUNDREDS of demonstrators are expected to protest today outside a British factory supplying engines for murderous drone aircraft used by Israel to attack Palestine.

The protest takes place on the first anniversary of Israel’s invasion of Gaza which left more than 2,200 Palestinians dead, including more than 500 children.

The attack included use of drones whose engines were manufactured by Israeli arms company Elbit Systems at its factory at Shenstone in Staffordshire.

Palestine supporters from across Britain — including groups from London and Manchester — will protest at the factory today to demand that the UK stops arming Israel.
