17 injured in bus crash in Manchester

SEVENTEEN people were injured yesterday when a bus smashed into a Manchester bridge, ripping its roof completely off.

A double-decker bus carrying 25 people hit the bridge near Rochdale railway station.

Most passengers suffered minor injuries, but a man in his 20s was described as having suffered “more serious facial injuries.”
