PUBLIC servants who tend the graves of 1.7 million service people killed in two world wars are to have their pensions slashed, unions revealed yesterday.
The move by the government-controlled Commonwealth War Graves Commission will affect 180 workers.
Unions Unite, PCS and Prospect all condemned the cuts.
Unite’s Julia Long said workers face losing £120 a week from their pensions.
