Tory minister Sajid Javid was left red-faced on Question Time when Morning Star columnist Bernadette Horton called out his party’s war on the Welsh NHS.
Ms Horton was whooped by the audience as she turned the tables on politically motivated Tory attacks and stole Thursday night’s programme.
David Cameron launched his latest smear on Welsh health services at Prime Minister’s questions on Wednesday, saying that “catastrophic cuts and mismanagement in Wales have cost the NHS clear.”
But Ms Horton hit back on the BBC show, saying: “I’m very proud to live in a socialist Wales, where we’ve got free prescriptions for all.
“I’m against this Con-Dem government trying to privatise the whole NHS.
“It needs to be a public NHS, free for all, something that Aneurin Bevan would be proud of, not something that would make him turn in his grave.”
