“SPIRITED” Tayside NHS porters pressed ahead with their strike action yesterday as their pay dispute enters its ninth week.
Unite regional organiser Colin Coupar accused management of doing nothing to resolve the crisis.
He said: “Instead they are trying to deny that a problem exists. It’s ludicrous.”
But Mr Coupar said that bullying bosses have only made the workers more determined.
“They know what has been happening to them and they know how they are being treated by management,” he said. “It has galvanised every porter in the place. There is so much sympathy in the hospital.”
