Three-time Olympic champion Jason Kenny will lead a near-full-strength Great Britain squad to the opening Track World Cup event of the season in Mexico next month.
Kenny, who missed last week’s European Track Championships in Guadeloupe, returns alongside Phil Hindes in the men’s sprint squad for the Guadalajara event, which takes place from November 8 to 9.
Jess Varnish is in the women’s sprint squad, although Becky James, the 2013 double world champion, is absent as she continues to recover from a knee problem.
The 17-strong team includes 10 recently crowned European champions, including double gold medallists Katie Archibald and Laura Trott.
British Cycling technical director Shane Sutton said: “We won eight medals at the European Track Championships in Guadaloupe and our aim is now to build on this and carry the momentum on to the world stage.
“As we’re now in the Olympic qualifying period, we’re keen to start the ball rolling with scoring points early on to relieve the pressure as we get closer to Rio.”
