Israelis were murdered
Palestinians (if there is such a thing)
Lost their lives, like coins
Down the back of the sofa
Or left, inadvertently, on the bartop
After they’d been drinking
And yet insisted on driving
To the hospital to visit their relatives
Who were known to be terrorists
Sir Keir recognises these differences
That’s why he was a lawyer
