Unions on the Star's management committee looking at ways to improve the paper

AS readers may know a survey of delegates attending a number of trade union and Labour Party events and conferences was conducted by Morning Star staff in conjunction with the management committee of the PPPS.

This was a simple survey seeking readers’ views on various aspects of the paper and only provided a snapshot of views, but nonetheless it was a useful exercise.

The results were analysed and the management committee have referred the survey results to the editor and the Morning Star management team.

I would like to thank delegates and trade union members who took the time to complete the survey.

Readers can be assured that the unions on the management committee are continuing to consider ways of improving the paper, its sales and circulation and promoting the electronic edition among trade union members, particularly in relation to improving coverage of trade union and workplace issues and disputes.
