England’s Jodi Ewart Shadoff slipped four shots off the lead after the second round of the Women’s Australian Open.
Shadoff shared top spot with Taiwan’s Wei-Ling Hsu following a flawless first round of 65 at The Grange Golf Club, but could only manage a 73 today to post a halfway total of six under par.
Hsu added a 69 to her opening 65 to finish 10 under par and share top spot on the leaderboard with Sweden’s Madelene Sagstrom, who carded five birdies in a second consecutive 67.
Australia’s Hannah Green, the United States’ Nelly Korda and Japan’s Haru Nomura are three shots off the pace on seven under, with England’s Bronte Law two strokes further back following a second round of 72.
Charley Hull made amends for an opening 75 with a flawless 66 to reach three under par, but Women’s British Open champion Georgia Hall slumped to a 79, which included a triple-bogey eight on the fifth hole, to miss the halfway cut.
