PHIL NEVILLE named his 28-woman squad today for England’s warm-weather training camp in Qatar.
With the SheBelieves Cup kicking off in the United States next month, Neville has called up a number of players who are returning from injury.
Manchester City’s Demi Stokes and Karen Bardsley will take part, as will Reading’s Jade Moore, Seattle Reign’s Jodie Taylor and Birmingham’s Ellen White.
There is also a return for Karen Carney.
For Neville, this training camp is just what his side needs as they prepare for a crucial 2019.
“We’re all really looking forward to meeting up for our first camp of 2019,” he said.
“After a well-earned break in December, most of the players are back in club action and will be ready to push on.
“The SheBelieves Cup is a demanding tournament with quality opposition.
“This training camp in Qatar is crucial for our preparation and an ideal opportunity for us to work as a group as we begin an important year.”
England are not only competing in the SheBelieves Cup this year but also the 2019 World Cup in France, which they will enter as one of the favourites to win.
