JEWISH activists will mark on Friday one year of uninterrupted protests to expel the Israeli ambassador as their coalition continues to grow.

The International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network (IJAN) will hold a special action near Swiss Cottage station in London at 5.30pm, joined by the Jewish Network for Palestine, the newest group to participate.

Guest speakers include activist Andrew Feinstein, Holocaust survivor Stephan Kapos and journalist Myriam Francois.

IJAN-UK began protesting outside the home of Tzipi Hotovely on October 27 last year for “inciting genocide” and the protest has continued to grow, despite a ban by police in March.

Protesters then moved to Swiss Cottage, the closest site outside the ban area.

Ms Hotovely has called for the illegal annexation of the West Bank and said that “every school, every mosque, every second house” must be destroyed in Gaza.

Sam Weinstein of IJAN-UK said: “While ambassador Hotovely has been defending and inciting [Israel’s] genocide, 84 per cent of the British public think [Israeli PM Benjamin] Netanyahu should be arrested if he comes to the UK.

“Eleven countries… have already expelled their Israeli ambassadors.

“Our protest will continue until the UK does the same and the genocide is ended.”
