CAMPAIGNERS marched through a London fashion district last night as they named and shamed high street brands involved in a Bangladeshi garment factory collapse in 2012.

Fair trade groups Labour Behind the Label and War on Want led a sartorial mob from outside fashion magazine Vogue headquarters through Oxford Street’s H&M, Gap and Benetton stores.

All three had products made in the Rana Plaza building, which caved in due to poor safety controls killing over 1,100 workers.

Labour Behind The Label campaigns director Ilona Kelly said the lack of compensation cash was “shameful.

“Families are waiting in urgent need and yet high-street brands continue to put profits over people and refuse to pay what they owe.

“Change in the fashion industry is urgently needed and long overdue.”

H&M, Gap and Benetton had not responded to requests for comment as the Star went to press, while a Vogue spokesman refused to comment.
