TWO long-range strikes from Northern Ireland midfielder Stuart Dallas saw Brentford end the game in the play-off zone after a resounding win over their west London neighbours.
Late goals from Alan Judge and Ramallo Jota compounded Fulham’s misery on a wet afternoon.
The last time Dallas played at Craven Cottage was for Irish side Crusaders.
It was part of the run that saw Fulham reach the Europa League final in 2011.
This game will bring him far happier memories.
For both goals, 23-year-old Dallas was given enough space to build a runway at Heathrow, before picking his spot.
On 23 minutes Dallas drilled a shot into the bottom corner of the net, and just before the hour mark his sweetly struck 30-yarder flew into the top corner.
It should have been plain sailing for the promotion-chasers but they ensured a frantic ending to the match when Toumani Diagouraga needlessly brought down James Husband in the area on 65 minutes.
Fulham captain Ross McCormack halved the deficit from the spot.
Fulham pushed for an equaliser with substitute Matt Smith proving a handful in the air.
With five minutes left, he felt he felt he should have had a penalty when put through by McCormack, but this time referee Hooper waved away the claims and Fulham’s chances of taking anything from the game.
In the final minute of normal time Judge made the game safe with a fantastic free-kick from 25 yards, the ball coming off the crossbar on its way in.
In injury time, Jota added a fourth, with another wonderful strike from the edge of the area.
It will be a fantastic final month for manager Mark Warburton before his services are no longer needed at Griffin Park, as he aims to leave his side in the Premier League.
