PALESTINE solidarity supporters in Brighton have installed a huge message of support for the people of Gaza in an open space below the town’s new i360 tower on the seafront.
It is being seen by hundreds of people using the new attraction, which carries 200 people in a rotating glass pod to a height of 450 feet.
The message reads: “End the 10 year siege of Gaza” above a Palestinian flag, and the initials BDS, representing the boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign against Israel’s continually expanding occupation of Palestinian land.
“The photos have now been seen all over the world — including in Gaza!” the group (pictured) wrote on its Facebook page.
Gaza, a small strip of land on Mediterranean coast populated by 1.8 million people, has been called the world’s biggest refugee camp.
