Video slur pulled for breach of copyright

THE Tories were hit by bad karma yesterday after their video claiming Jeremy Corbyn poses a “threat to Britain’s security” was pulled from YouTube for copyright violation.

The 82-second video purports to show the making “controversial” comments at various meetings and conferences.

The copyright breach is linked to a 10-second clip showing the Labour leader referring to some members of Hamas as “friends” at a Stop the War Coalition meeting in 2009.

It now says: “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Adrian Cousins.”

Mr Cousins, a videographer for left-wing group Counterfire, said he would never have given Tory HQ permission to use the clip.

He added: “They’re using this clip as a way of not engaging with what Corbyn has to say about Palestine.”
