France: Bookie stages migrant stunt

IN ITS latest stunt, bookmaker Paddy Power has sent a lorry to Calais bearing the slogan: “Immigrants, jump in the back! (But only if you’re good at sport)” next to pictures of Raheem Sterling, Mo Farah, Manu Tuilagi and Eoin Morgan, all born abroad. It also strangely features Andy Murray, who is Scottish.

Around 2,000 people desperate to reach Britain are camped in Calais and are routinely evicted, arrested and harrassed by French police.
