Leicester launched an internal investigation yesterday after a vile video revealed filmed involving three players racially abusing a Thai woman during a sexual encounter.

The video shows the players naked in a hotel room — during the club’s goodwill tour of Thailand — engaging in an orgy with three Thai women and one of the players referring to one woman as “slit-eye.”

James Pearson, 22, son of manager Nigel, striker Tom Hopper, 21, and goalkeeper Adam Smith, 22, are seen laughing with each other throughout the footage and at one point a player is heard off-screen saying one of the women is “fucking minging — absolute one out of 10.”

Throughout the video, the players are heard ordering the different women to perform demeaning sexual acts while they are cheered on.

The club, owned by Thai billionaires, said in a statement: “We take the conduct of our players at every level extremely seriously and will take appropriate action, if necessary, once the full facts of the situation have been established.

“Pending the outcome of an internal investigation, the club will make no further comment.”

Supporters voiced their outrage on the club’s official Facebook page and feel an investigation is not needed given how clearly the players are seen camera.

One comment read: “Get rid of them, please. Not much investigation needed given the way it was exposed,” while another wrote: “Utterly disgusting behaviour, they have no right wearing the club shirt again, disrespectful appalling behaviour to the Thai owners and to those poor girls. They should hang their head in shame and leave immediately.”

The players took down their Twitter profiles over the weekend, with one fan on social media saying that it spoke volumes about the situation.

“I dont think there’s much to investigate,” they said. “The evidence is there in the video! You can clearly see Hopper and Smith’s faces and clearly hear them sniggerig at the vile comments made! Absolutely disgusting. I hope this hasn’t ruined the club’s relationships with owners and Thailand.

The fact Pearson and Hopper have disabled their Twitter accounts too speaks volumes.”

The video was obtained by the Sunday Mirror after the trio allegedly shared the video with friends back in the Britain.
