Cuba: Ebola medics return to Cuba

150 medical professionals returned home yesterday after a successful five-month mission against Ebola in west Africa.

The medical brigade arrived at the Juan Gualberto Gomez international airport in Varadero, western Matanzas province, having contributed to saving over 400 lives threatened by the Ebola virus.

They formed part of the Henry Reeve international contingent of 256 medical workers who made the trip.
