Energy firms replaced notorious cheapskate air firm Ryanair at the foot of a Which? customer service league of shame yesterday.
Thousands of members of the public were approached by the consumer group to list their pet hates and gripes with the corporations that now dominate our lives.
Among the biggest complaints were automated phone systems and being “passed around” call-centre staff.

Scottish Power came second from bottom with a satisfaction rating of 58 per cent.
