New calls for stalker’s register

CRIME: A campaigner whose daughter was murdered by an abusive ex-boyfriend called yesterday for a stalkers’ register where potential victims can check their partner’s history.

John Clough, whose daughter Jane was murdered by her violent former lover while he was on bail for rape, claimed that despite new laws stalkers are “getting off with a slap on the wrist” and called for courts to view stalking in the same way as sex offending.

His nurse daughter, 26, was stabbed 71 times by predator Jonathan Vass.

Hundreds see off seven fascist losers

ANTI-FASCISM: Hundreds of people chanting “whose streets? Our streets” overwhelmed a pathetic gathering of far-right thugs from the South East Alliance in north London at the weekend.

A line of police had to hold back the angry mob of anti-fascists holding placards reading “London is the capital of the world, nazis are the scum of the earth” on Saturday.

Just yards behind the police barricade seven fascists were cooped up in a metal cordon.
