FILIPINO boxer Manny Pacquiao warned Floyd Mayweather yesterday that he will lose his unbeaten record in their big-money Las Vegas fight on Sunday morning.
Mayweather, who tops the table for sports earners internationally, has an immaculate run of 47 victories and uses it to fuel his claim of being the greatest boxer of all time.
But popular Pacquiao insists the 38-year-old faces his toughest challenge this weekend.
“I’m different to the 47 opponents he has fought before. I’m faster than them and I’m content for the fight. I believe this is the moment he will experience his first loss,” he said.
Speaking shortly after around 1,000 fans had gathered at the Mandalay Bay on Tuesday to watch a noisy and colourful event organised by the fighter, he said: “I can’t say Mayweather is the most dangerous opponents of my career because I’ve fought guys like Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel and Marquez and other boxers.”
