Two more Palestinians shot dead by occupation forces

ISRAELI occupation forces fatally shot two Palestinians and critically injured a 12-year-old body yesterday after alleged stabbing attacks in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Muhammad Nimr, a 37-year-old father of three, was shot six times in the al-Musrara area of Jerusalem by guards protecting illegal Israeli settlers.

Earlier in the city, Israeli soldiers shot and wounded 12-year-old Palestinian on the light railway near the illegal settlement of Pisgat Zeev. Israeli authorities accused him and a 13-year-old of hurting a security guard.

The boy who was shot was taken to hospital for emergency surgery while the guard was “in moderate condition.”

Meanwhile Israeli police shot 16-year-old Sadeq Ziad Gharbiyeh at a checkpoint near Abu Dis in the West Bank who they claim was holding a knife.

Before Mr Gharbiyeh died of his gunshot wounds, the Israelis reportedly closed the checkpoint in both directions, preventing paramedics from reaching him.

Later, a Palestinian was shot and injured in the illegal settlement of Teqoa by Israeli police who claimed he “lunged at people with a knife.”
