PALESTINIAN Foreign Minister Riad Malki said on Monday that he would take a UN report on Israeli forces’ slaughter of Palestinians as they sheltered in UN premises in Gaza to the International Criminal Court.
Malki praised the UN for releasing the report after a delay, saying that he had been worried that Israel was trying to suppress it.
The UN inquiry found that at least 44 Palestinians had been killed and 227 injured by direct mortar strikes and other “Israeli actions” while sheltering at UN locations, including schools, during last year’s aggression against Gaza.
UN agency for Palestinian refugees spokesman Chris Gunness added that no weapons were found in or near the hit schools.
