Another tween book is given the big screen treatment in Hollywood's continuing search for another Twilight-style franchise box office hit.

Sticking faithfully to Veronica Roth's novel it centres on a dystopian society divided by factions based on human virtues. When Tris (Shailene Woodley) learns she is "divergent" and will never fit into one group she uncovers a plot by a faction leader (Kate Winslet) to annihilate all of her kind and she joins forces with the mysterious Four (Theo James) to stop her.

Just like The Hunger Games this is a smart and riveting action-packed thriller which ticks all its target audience's boxes.
