TRIBUNAL: A gay clergyman prevented from taking up a post as a hospital chaplain was not discriminated against, an employment tribunal ruled yesterday.

Mr Pemberton said his lawyers would appeal.

Police were investigating disorder which broke out after a march in the South Yorkshire town by the far-right Britain First group on Saturday September 5.

The tour is scheduled to stop at 46 locations in Britain as part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the “Holidays are Coming” advert.

But Mr Vaz, who has type-2 diabetes, blasted: “The Coca-Cola truck is not welcome in Leicester.”

Downing Street imposed the “precautionary measure” in response to new information about the cause of the crash.

A spokeswoman said: “We have become concerned that the plane may well have been brought down by an explosive device.”
